How much will my project cost?

Each project is different and therefore the costs will vary depending on your needs and requirements. For a general overview of our current rates please visit our pricing page.

When can my project start?

We only take on a limited number of projects at any one time. This is so that we can dedicate all the time you need to getting your project just right. To learn more about our available openings please complete our quote request form and we will get straight back to you.

What are the payments and when are they due?

Once you have decided to go ahead with your project, we ask for a 50% deposit before we begin work on the first stage (Pre-Design).

The final installment is due after the completion of the Concept/Layout Design stage. After we have recieved your final payment we will go ahead and hand over any graphics, or complete installation of your website. For full details on our design process please click here.

How long will my project take?

For an ecommerce project, turnaround is usually around 6-8 weeks from project start to finish. This includes the time it takes you to add all of your content, so in some cases it can end up taking longer, depending on how much content you have to add and how much time you can devote to your work on the project.

For an informational website the turnaround is approximately 4 weeks, again depending on the project features.

There are a number of ways that we can speed up your project if time is an issue. We will provide you with more information when we discuss your project.

Which ecommerce software do you use?

We currently use CKGold for all of our ecommerce websites. We have been using CKGold for a number of years and have found it to be the most feature rich and user friendly ecommerce package available for the price (currently CKGold costs $75 which is included in the project cost). What other costs can I expect to pay?

We know how confusing setting up a new website can be. Your website isn't just about having a stunning new design, and website hosting is an often overlooked cost! Here at Poppy and Me we want to make the process easier for you, and that is why we offer domain name registration and 1 years website hosting as part of the cost of your project. So you have absolutely nothing to worry about and there are no hidden costs!

We hand over control of your hosting to you, and teach you how to use it, so there is no need to rely on us after your project has finished. After the year is up you can choose to renew your website hosting or you can change to a different host - you are in complete control!

Why Poppy and Me...and who's Poppy ?

As you may already know, the 'big cheese' around here is called Ria! So why are we called Poppy and Me?

In 2008 Ria gave birth to her first beautiful daughter, Poppy. After spending an eternity trying to think of a suitable name, an idea came to mind...it's just Poppy and Me. She realised that Poppy was the inspiration behind the creation of the business and therefore she just had to be in the name.

Poppy does not actually work here at the studio, so technically it isn't just Poppy and Me...although she does help her mummy once in a while with design ideas and some light typing now and again!
